Square pegs in round holes

One of the less talked about reasons for the poor performance of this government economically, is the preponderance of lawyers/professional politicians in the cabinet/government.(They make up over 60% by my estimation)

While I don't have issues with the relevance of the legal profession, I believe some jobs require precise professionals and not genaralists.

The economy being presently prostrate, requires tested turn around managers, business wiz kids and economic gurus to get things going once again.

This is not the time to show or reward loyalty. The present times call for the "Josephs" of this country to turn things around. Platitudes by political office holders or thier spiritual supporters will not achieve much except we do the need full.

Let's have a healthy debate.
